About Hamster

Hamster is a fun little vegetarian cafe nestled in the heart of Kyneton. The space is lovely, light filled & relaxed & has a secluded courtyard out the back. The owner & chef, Mara Szoeke (formerly of Inner Biscuit), has been cooking for 30 years & is passionate about simple, delicious, fresh & healthy food. The menu is diverse & changes regularly, with many vegan & gluten free options.

At Hamster we make every effort to source ingredients that are bio-dynamic, organic, seasonal & locally grown. 

We are happy to accommodate you if you have any special dietary requirements.

Open Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm. Closed Saturday & Sunday.
